Help customers understand the product
A product page should answer the questions a buyer would ask in person. What is included? Which size or variation should they choose? Is the product suitable for their intended use?
Clear information is more useful than adding visual elements without a purpose.
Prepare your catalog
- Use consistent product names and category labels.
- Provide accurate descriptions and specifications.
- Add clear photographs of relevant details and variations.
- Explain delivery, returns and any restrictions using your actual policies.
- Keep stock and pricing information current.
Review the full buying journey
Look beyond the individual page. Can a visitor find related products, understand the cart and complete checkout without unexpected steps?
Test the journey on a phone with a realistic product selection. Record confusing labels and unanswered questions, then address them before launch.
